Best LSJ-T Tuner????

Ok guys and gals, I just recently figured what route I am taking my build. I am going with a ZZP LSJ Turbo Swap Kit with: BW S256et, external wastegate dump tube, boost controller, 80# injectors, full 3in catless exhaust, smaller intercooler, and a full devils own meth kit(50/50). I also will have HP Tuners. I was just wondering who were the top tuners for tuning turbo swapped cars? I have started talking to James about the build, but just wanting to just see if there were others. Thanks everyone

Well James will remote you, Area is a good tuner, but don't believe he will remote...there are only a few reputable tuners out there. BTW you are going ZZP what about having them remote you? They do good work

That might work too. Never did think about that.

Any advice on what I should see on a reliable tune? Like what kind of timing? boost? a/f ratio? and what mix should I run? Most likely I will be running 50/50 jw tho

50/50 is pointless imo I've never seen any gains with that mix. I run 70/30 and its awesome sauce

Yeah so basically more meth concentration more power(with lower timing) and more heat(IAT2's)

You've never seen any gains with a 50/50 mix...? That makes absolutely no sense

@ bad-a-ss, you had a question about lag on my turbo. Turbo lag is a thing of the past these days especially on good turbos like precision turbos. Anyone that has ran that turbo knows its extremely reliable, extremely well built, extremely responsive, and will make great power across the board. Precision is the best turbo manufacturer in the world and out lasts and out performs any turbo on the market. As for tuning my personal choice first would be Vince @trifecta and second choice would be James rakes, both amazing tuners IMO.

Please explain how running 50/50 sees zero gains but 70/30 does. Im curious. Yes I run a 14 gph nozzle on my TVS set up.

you won't see a gain without a good tune for the meth kit. you will actually lose power at the same timing and boost levels.

if you want to come to kc, i can tune. aside from that. no remote tuning from me.

Lol panties in a wad? All I asked is to explain your theory. Going from 50/50 to 70/30 will allow you to gain slightly more power if tuned right but not night and day like you're talking.

when I tried to run 50/50 we didn't see any decrease in my iat's. my tuner tweaked it a little and switched it to 70/30 and my iat's went down 32* same thing happened to 3 of my turbo cobalt buddies. maybe it works for you cause you have a blower? idk. but like I said, I PERSONALLY have never seen any gains.

Meth doesn't cool. Water does. I'm not going to argue what happened going from 50/50 to 70/30 on your car but that makes no sense. The reasoning why most run a 50/50 mixture is because you get the best of both worlds. Cooler IATs and water actually helps suppress detonation.
