tuning issue...

Car was fully dyno tuned and ran like a champ for a month or so.
We went catless per the tuners suggestion and the car still ran great afterwards.
However, got a junk tank of gas and all of the sudden my car runs rich as all get out.
called my tuner today to see what he said and he claims the tunes on these things dont change so it must be mechanical.
my question is just that, can our cars learn on their own after being tuned?
theres nothing mechanically wrong with the car that we can find it just runs super rich.

3 inch intake
ported/polished ls4 throttle body
ported/polished blower with a 2.9
ported/polished manifold
ported/polished head
ported/ceramic coated pacesetter
catless downpipe
3 inch exhaust
dual pass

any help is appreciated

The tune does not change. The car does. do the typical trouble shooting

pulled plugs -- good, scanned computer -- no codes. went to leave work tonight and caught a slight rattle in my exhaust. so i dropped the cat back and noticed the auger style silencer i had put in there to quiet down my 3 inch exhaust, was trying to go through the bend.
after getting it out it was pitch black and bent to ****. guess when i had that bad tank of gas, my exhaust didnt play nice.
driving home, even though it was god awfully loud again, it seemed to boost right and pulled like a pissed off mule. but we will see on monday when we hit the car with a dyno pull and datalogging...
thanks for the tips though sir!

since 93 gas stations arent very common here, we had the car tuned on 91 orginally. making 279 to the wheels on the dyno, with low knock on the top end of third.
at the dyno yesterday, we noticed over the course of a month we have misplaced 30 horses as my car sits at 250 now. with the car seriously not wanting to play nice with 91. tuner basically had to throw more timing in to make it quit knocking up top.
if we went ahead and switched over to 93 or higher, we should get our power back and possibly a little extra right for the ability to play with a little more timing?
do i have many other options other than switching octane?
