i haven't got the chance to mess with it, in the dynamic airflow what did you change your settings to to fix this, or was it something they changed for you using a table you don't have access to yet?

hey when you loaded the beta did you have to reload all of your liscenses?

Pretty sure it was the table they added that fixxed it. We will wait for fast98 to chime in though.

stock its set to 5800 and 5700 I played with it till I got it to where I wanted it. Its at 2400 and 2300. its a nice smooth curve now. After I did this I had to rescale the maf down about 25% in the top end, every tune will be differnet though.

wow so this allowed you to rescale the maf back down, what g/sc do you have it set at for 11,000hz.

i know this won't apply to my tune, but i just wanna see what it will allow for now that we have this available. i won't be able to mess with it till my motor is back in next week.

****, i needz me this beta release!

that way i can tweak the maf back down to normal levels and use normal pe numbers.....

any one want to e-mail it to me?

my "use the maf to overcompinsate" method worked, but its has its side effects.

you have to contact support@hptuners.com and they will add it to your login page. just tell them that you have a cobalt that has the idc problem and that you would like the beta release. you also have to give them your serial number. give them this link to http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...755#post125755

the maf is at 321 g/s at 11k hz where as before it was almost 450

we would need a custom operating system for that and theres just not enough people that need it for hptuners to justify the cost and time of making it for us

What do you mean by SD control? You have complete access to the VE table with or without this beta which is the primary airflow table used while in SD mode.

the p12's OS and factory tables are written for more then 215 kpa, we just dont have access to it.

we could go a significant distance before crossing the custom OS threshold.

He means a full 3 bar SD setup and a VE table that goes to 8000 instead of 6800

Like what? The VE table axes are non editable so there is nothing more to access in this regard and like stated would take a custom operating system for us to rescale them, making the axes editable doesn't look like a possibility according to our engineer(I spoke to him directly on exactly this).

3 bar won't be possible from the looks of it, 2.5 bar would be the max the stock pcm can handle even with a custom operating system created for these pcm's because its hardcoded in.

that, would be a milid form of perfection.

i'm happy with the 2.5bar as of yet, however as we push and push its limits on the upper end, resolution must suffer.

interesting,
the stock values on my 04 Redline are 3600,3500

although I never encountered the 'idc doubling' issue, I did have maf calibration issues with the TVS around 4000rpm+

i have a funky ass idc issue. not sure if this funky table will fix it or not. im tired of using wacked out pe tables.

the issue is not that it is doubling the idc's it ski ramps them. then flat lines. i have a log somewhere i can post on hpt if needed.
