Oem lnf wastegate solenoid

Has anyone tried using it on an aftermarket external wastegate?

Share what wastegate and springs you used to get it to work similar to stock in the tune?


Chris Zelinsky said he did it too and it works well. I plan to do it as well; but I may need to have some one help me tune it.

Well looks really smooth so far 25ish psi on a super smooth curve 14lbs spring @ 50% WGDC

Was 50% just a lucky guess, or did you go back and re-do the Wastegate Duty Cycle based on Commanded vs. Actual boost?

It was my starting point vs my setup. Since i have adjusted

I'm on my 7163 still I'm just tuning justin on the 257

I think I am going to go 5531 with a Turbosmart 38mm wastegate
