Trifecta on a LSJ?

Hi, I've been lurking here for awhile so now that I needed help I figured it be the best time to make an account. Does anyone have or had a Trifecta tune on their LSJ? I have the zzp stage 3 with 2.8 and 60's, and their mid-length header and catted downpipe and am looking to make atleast 250 to the wheels but don't want to get disappointed with Trifecta. Anyone run a similar setup with their tune, and what numbers did you put down?

Edit: Another thing, does anyone know if Trifecta can adjust the GM Stage 3 tune for 60's and a 2.8?

A trifecta tune is better than a canned tune but worse than a custom HPT tune. A proper HPT tune is a better way to go.

i had the trifecta stage 3 tune with adjustable rev limiter. i liked it. vince keeps it on the rich side just for extra safety. he will lean it out if you ask him to. i never dynoed mine but it was decently quick.

if you want a black box( you will need one if you go trifecta) i have one for sale.

i also had 2.8 and 60's and full exhaust.

I've been trying to figure this out. Did you just tell Trifecta you had the 2.8 and 60's instead of the 2.9 and 42's and they tweaked it?

well for me i just gave them a list of all my mods. they sent me a initial tune and then we just went back and forth with datalogs and updates till it was good.

i guess they base it off of the actual gm stage 3 tune then adjust as needed. you also keep your ac, on the gm tune you dont get to keep ac. i also liked the adjustable rev limiter.

No matter where you go Vince is the one who changes the tune. I probably did 5 or 6 logs I would say. Since he isn't in the car with you he does small changes at a time.

Why not just get a custom HPT tune? Probably easier to deal with anyway (I've heard a couple people have a hard time getting in touch with Vince/Trifecta over the past year or two.)

FYI I made 260whp on 60s, 2.8" and full bolt ons (93 pump gas) on my old setup. Pulled awesome and power band was awesome. That was on HPT Tune though.

where I live no one has it or even know how to use it ...plus the cost..and I only have a stock lsj with bolt ons just want a little tune make abit of power nothing serious. I got a black box for 150 and the tune cost is 230 and a hp tune is like 599 for the kit or more.

Just an fyi... you can make very nice power on the GMR S3 kit w/o any Trifecta tuning.

It's all what you want to end up doing in the long run though.

When any Trifecta tune is ordered for an LSJ the injectors the pulley, and any other modifications need to be specified.

WOT-Tuning handles ALL Trifecta orders now - if you want the best service possible, I would suggest you find a local Trifecta dealer, or order directly from WOT-Tuning.

TRIFECTA Retailers

I have installed tunes on several LSJ's and all my customers were happy with their tune.

FYI: for several injector types there are variations therein - the injector top colour needs to be specified.
