Tuner Recommendations?

Hey guys, I've been wanting to get my 2010 SS tuned and I'm just looking for some unbiased opinions on names I've seen thrown around here, because it seems some tuners are either absolutely loved or absolutely hated. Some of the guys that keep popping up on here or on facebook are Kmo43, area47, cobaltssdude420, James Rakes, backyardturbo, omiotek, 09cobaltss1, terminator2. More than anything else I would like a reliable tune because I do still daily the car. Any info would be much appreciated but I'm not looking to see guys get called out or anything. Thanks guys!

The best tune will be done in person. You're on the right track seeking GM ecotec tuners with Cobalt SS experience, we wary of local shops who don't answer the ecotec question with confidence.

I would never put my name behind a remote tune, too many variables such as faulty hardware and ignorant owners who say everything is perfect with their car. Guess who gets blamed for engines blowing up? The tuner of course. A good remote tuner will probably ask you to do a lot of logging and ask if you have a WBO2. Get the WBO2 installed first (LNF has one), then think about getting a remote tune. It will turn a "safe" garbage tune into an highly optimized tune.

Area47 is best but im not sure he still does remote tunes.

09cobaltss1 is also a good choice.

I can only give you advice on who I have used but jon mic or 09cobaltSS1 same guy, tuned me on both 93 and e47 and I was totally satisfied with his remote tune. We made revisions to both tunes probably at least 5 times each if not more. He is picky and knowledgeable and I trusted him 100%. He won't tune the car to "kill" even if you would ask him to. Term doesn't tune Cobalt's anymore, he is the one who recommended John to me. Area still does tuning but I don't think he remote tunes.

KMO43 is tuning my car currently and I highly recommend him.
