tuning question

Yeah me too im guessing it was just kinda weak on that spot. Because before the tune those plugs werent giving me any problems all started to happen once I was tuned or in the process of getting the tune complete and I would go on wot the the sparj would blow out at about 4k till like 5.5k
Wgr73 is tuning me and the car was completely stock before the tune. On monday I installed the intake then on tuesday I installed the turboxs catted DP and that same day I got the tune. On the .28 I guess he wasnt understanding me and later on he told me .32 should be fine

Because those plugs are known to cause issues. I suspect the plugs didn't play nice from installation. It wasn't tune related, that's for sure.
I'm tuning him. And yes he was on the stock tune in the past. I would guess he had blowout on that tune as well but he said he never really got on the throttle much so it's hard to say.
The reason I suggested he gap his Iridiums to .28 was from experience. I've had to gap them (iridiums) down to .28 to stop blow out. I don't ever suggest anything but stock plugs. I suggested he gap his 'OEM' plugs to .32.
He installed it and drove to me...fuel trims are now -0.8%
His car misfired from the first pull. I've seen nothing out of the ordinary other than that. There was a pull where it missed once and the car was strong, really strong. Now that he's fixed his issue he'll make good power

I was just wondering why the plug failed I'm not saying it's because of the tune but NGK plugs are not crap others just work better for us maybe it as defective and melted maybe the engine got really hot on a hot day and detonated just curious over here

No yeah its not tune related. Actually the car works like a champ now with my old oem plugs just gotta gap them down a tad at .34 the car feels good but im sure at .32 I would have some peace of mind. But yeah wgr73 is doing a good job helping me out with the issue

I always put at the same place and always get 91 octane only at the beginning when I got the car I used mid octane just to try it but I didnt like it and never went wot on that kind of gas only on premium. But I get what you mean lol its strange to me too
