hey ive been tuning my car and i have a zzp tune file that i started with and i was wondering if the zzp cam tables are safe ive heard of people bending valves playing with these tables ??

ya sorry should of said it was an lnf lol. car runs great with them on just want to make sure its safe and worth it .

Cobalt4209 09-03-2018 08:13 PM

Zzp modifies them from stock so I guess there safe just wanted to know if anyone has had any bent valves or anything

Cobalt4209 09-03-2018 08:52 PM

Ye I have hp tuners and I have confirmed they made changes to the cam angles

Sure will want me to pm it ?

The cam profiles that ZZP uses for the LNF aren't going to bend valves. The intake and exhaust cam only have so much movement available and it's not much in the grand scheme of things.

You're on ignore for a reason but I'll respond to this and be quite simple with it - You don't have the first clue as to what you're talking about with this motor/controller. I have almost 10 years of direct experience.

No, it's not a full 25 degree's either.

Wow... we learned a lot from that not so useful post. Point us to your HP Tuner posts on GM Ecotec VVT if you really want to be useful.

Every single thing you post is

Plenty of my posts can be found on HPT forums. I'm not going to waste my time trying to spoon feed you. Stay in your own lane and move on.
