TTR engine/trans mounts

So I just installed my upper motor mount and my STOP transmission mounts today. It was easier than I expected and went smoothly. Just had to take the mid section of my Injen CAI and that was the only snag, took an extra 5 min so pretty small snag.

heres some pics of them installed... (i recommend people get this)

now a get a nice foot massage when im driving. haha

He has a few now, as he just got them, but I bet 75% will go away within the first month.

I will let him speak from here though

ill definitely post up as it goes along. but the vibration is there no doubt but its not bad at all. i like the solid feel of the car now.

great product. ill fill everyone in as i go along. and i dont hear any of the trim rattling like i thought i would. other than the usual rattle of the glove box when the engine bogs down during slow takeoffs but that was there before the mounts.

You just need a simple floor jack, it is in the instructions. less than 10 minutes for the upper mount and around 30 minutes for each tranny mount.

In 1 hour you can be sitting back having a cold one

I just installed my upper motor mount. Yes you do notice the vibes when you accelerate, and if you rev on it from a dead stop. But as noted in a earlier post the car feels more solid when you downshift. As far as going from stop light to stop light it takes a sec for the vibe to go away when you go to neutral. Find somebody with the mount and drive their car to see if you can handle the vibes. All in all nice product TTR.

been a while since i put the mounts in and the vibrations are a little less but still there for sure. not disappointed at all. not a single hop yet from burnouts or a speedy onramp launch. definitely recommend this still if not even more than before.

haha, well another update. i NEVER use my AC and the other day the Mrs. was riding with me and if her environment isnt climate controlled...

anyway there is some more vibration with the AC turned on because of the lower idle from running the AC but i still dont mind it that much. maybe it will tone down after some more time.

to sum up, still worth it! haha

well another update and my motor mounts/trans mounts are holding up great, the vibrations are pretty much gone and the worst vibrations while my AC is on are definitely hardly noticeable now.

still recommend this product to everyone to stop wheel hop and stopping your engine/trans from slamming back and forth.

so go get this, DEW ET!

Yea I had a TTR upper mount installed last weekend. It did firm things up alot. It helped plant power to the ground (a lot less wheel spin) and stop the engine from lunging back and forth with acceleration and deceleration. I give the TTR upper enigne mount an A++ rating. However, I am lowered so I went with a powell rotated mount in the lower front (should be here on Fri.) and gonna just run the stocker rear mount.

Just ordered my upper engine mount today! Looking forward to installing. I already have the tranny mounts so this should definitely complete it! Anyway I can get some turbotechracing stickers shipped with it in white (small ones)?
