Hi all,

I am in need of a black driver front fender for my 2006 Cobalt SS as my landlord accidentally hit my car while it was in my driveway! Please let me know if you have one!

I have found fenders but they don't look the greatest.

 

Do you know if the SS fenders are the same as like the base models fenders? Pretty sure they are but just want to make sure.

 

They are the same. Hit up car-part.com and see if any yards local to you have any.

 

Ask Dave8699, he is parting a black car and I think has that fender because i tried to buy it.

 

whynot just have it repaired?

 

The cost of body work, paint, color blending etc over exceeds the cost of a brand new painted fender by at least 5 times. A brand new painted fender costs 180 bucks.

but if he did hit you and has insurance whats that all matter? deductible and its done.

any junkyard should have a cobalt somewhere. depending on where its from, the condition its in, sun fade, it might not match that great anyway

 

Oh I know I work for State Farm, so trust me I know lol. There is no problem. His insurance paid me the amount the estimate that I got was but I am choosing to source the part myself, do the work myself, and keep the extra cash for myself.
