i think there is a bigger problem than what it sounded like. i checked all the exhuast for leaks and nothing then i walked to the back and felt the exhuast and it would run fine when idling and then it would skip and then go back to normal. i took the oil cap off and it was huffin pretty damn hard. im doing a compression check tomorrow to see if the pistons are ok if i have enough time im going to try and look at the cams. im going to try and take the day off. i hooked it up to see what codes it was throwing and it said cylinder #3 was misfiring. i changed the spark plugs too see if one was fouled and they were all good. i replaced them anyways and same noise. sucks too cuz i was all about whoopin that ass. as for the comment about getting laid and buying dinner.....**** that i want that cash money the car still pulls hard cuz it started doing that **** yesterday. i was racing my buddy in his 87 supra wasnt even a race. we got it on video but it looks like im racing a parked car

check your coil iv had issues on other cars where it only affected one cyl...and if youre whoopin supras a lincoln should be no challenge...gl gettin it runnin right , then smack that bitch in the wallet

anyone know what the compression ratio is supposed to be?

 

So i took the balt to the shop and played around with it. checked the coils, there good. did a compression check, 160 psi accrossed the bored. lifted it up and started checking **** underneath. everything is tight that i could get a tool on and the noise is still there. anyone close and want to take a look for them selves. hit me up. so race is supposed to go tomorrow night. what to do?

i was misfiring for a bit then i did the stg2 upgrade and it went a way, maybe injectors
