05ish Carerra GT
Was out on the highway near jax florida and one of these monsters comes up behind me and starts fukin with me, i have a lil knowledge about the 600hp V10, or at least enough info to know not to even think about playing with him. I wait it out and he flys by me like a bat outta hell. anyone have some more numbers on what this car can do?

Carrera's come in the base (325hp) and the Carrera S. Thats it. They only have 355 max hp. if you're talking 911, max hp for a 911 Turbo is 480. The GT3 has 415.
there is no 600hp porsche made for the U.S. www.porsche.com will tell you what you want to know. |
I think he meant the Carerra GT, which was certainly up around 600hp.

Here is a picture of one of the local Carerra GT's here at Brumos Porsche>>>>> http://www.brumos-porsche.com/detail...//Convertible/ And here is the specs on this beast of a car>>>>> http://www.engine-power.com/porsche/carrera_gt.html

Carrera GT, the all carbon fiber bodied nastiness on wheels. The one in NFS Most Wanted
I thought everyone knew about this car. |
Straight from Porche:
An offshoot of Porsche’s racing program and a technological tour de force, the 605-horsepower Carrera GT is a carbon-fibered symphony of speed. with an SS/SC, You might have hung next to him for about... Oh... The time it takes him to go from no throttle to... WIDE OPEN THROTTLE! |
dayum! watch the top gear review of it and see just how fast it is!
The day a slightly modded ss/sc can keep up with one of those, i will buy a ford! |
those are complete nasty, i wish one would try to play with me :( they are so hot looking, DAMN it they are hot looking. AND how do you not know what a porsche carrera GT is! wowww. I mean, you even gave hp ratings for the 2007 gt3 and STILL didnt see that they exist? PHEW!
|

$50,000 in damage to the car. All before he got it on the street! |

sorry you fellers can see it on the website, but for some reason as much as i search, there is no Carrera GT for sale IN THE UNITED STATES, all according to the Porsche website. The Carrera GT is no longer being manufactured. Only about 1270 were made with about half of that number sold in the U.S. Chances of seeing one are very slim. There is a RUF dealer/tune shop about 4 miles from me. As i was in the area one day, 2 suspected mechanics were driving the "Yellowbird". As i come up next to him he just hit it and was gone, almost forever, but recovered quickly. it wasnt anything i'd even consider messin with. |

If you've played Video games such as Need For Speed: Most Wanted, you'd see the Carrera GT is on the exotic level with a ton of HP. I know of one on sale in a Chevy dealership. Go to a rich area. In a town about 40 minutes from me all on the same street there are HUGE ferrari dealerships, Mazerrati dealrships. Acura, VW, Chevy (The one that has the carrera in the show room), porsche, mitsubishi, and about every company. But yeah, none the less carreras or any exotic aren't anything that any of us Cobalt owners have any business fucking around with. :poke: |
Speaking of Carrera GT's........
