so let me get this straight..our headgaskets can hold 20 psi until it needs to be changed...

im comin from a srt4 so i wasnt worryin bout that..stock srt4 turbo can handle 19psi...anything after that is useless on that car...boost it to 25,but it will only pull/make power like if its on 19...

and stock for stock race, if the srt4 driver keeps it in 2nd at 4k or above,he will walk u every race if ur totally stock

He was trying too hard to Brake boost and couldn't stay beside me... doesn't matter... I still walked him, and that was really only through 2nd gear. 3rd gear on a straight road would have been rape. But we both knew that...

Yeah im 1-1 against them. Lost in a third/fourth gear roll but am stock so it was expected. Took out my revenge the first day I got my Z on a poor silver one from a dig.

 

to be quite honest, it didn't even look like he was trying to race you. A lightly modded SRT on a 2nd gear pull, with a decent driver, should have NO problems beating many cars.

 

Haha... you obviously haven't met my car, and you obviously have too much faith in the SRT. Like I said... he is my friend... and He is Stock... and we have ran them plenty of times... this time I was lucky enough to have my G/F in the car to film. Every time we race, I pull... Hard.

Quit trying so hard to put the SRT-4 on an untouchable pedestal... They are nice/fast cars... but they aren't invincible.

Mmmm..SRT-4 crackle and pop. Even with a not so good driver, if you can shift decently, you can still do well. But like USMC said....they're fast, nice...but not invincible.

 

Your friend should be nutchecked for brake boosting on a stock turbo SRT. Second, lame played out jokes = . Time to re-write your script.

Comply with above references, then you can be as cool as me.

 

just so you know, a supercharged focus would own a stock ss s/c..

I put atleast 2 or 3 cars on a supercharged focus.. from a 35 roll.. his mods were JRSC BBK, 5.7 crank pulley, Short Ram intake, Eagle H-Beams, JE Pistons, MSD coil pack and live wires, 65mm TB, Trubenz Exhaust, Header (no cat), Aluminum Flywheel, Centerforce Dual Friction stage 1 clutch.. I am completely stock.. He was able to hang with me for awhile, but then I pulled..

 

you know what i love.....all these guys who race..they talk like they always race some ultra-modded car, and beat them when the car they drive is perfectly stock just to make it look like some unbeliveable win...

i never said it didn't happen....it just drives me up a wall when people talk it up. It's all like..."ooohh..hey..look at me..stroke my ego" it's why not many race me.....i'm quiet..i don't need to talk myself up. plus having a very sleeper ride doesn't hurt. only my closest friends know what i'm running.

 

All he was doing was correcting someone that said "X" car will walk all over an SS/SC.

He wasn't on a high horse bragging about anything.

 

I believe why I responded with that was because someone said a supercharged focus would walk a cobalt ss..
