06 SS/SC vs RSX-S
Well, I followed this guy in his newly used car, he had temp tags, to the light exiting the local Naval Air Station. I was behind him, I noticed him rocking the clutch at the light and figured I'd get to play a bit. This stretch of highway is normally empty except during the early morning and just after work in the afternoon. It's a main drag to get to the highway from the base. Anyway, the light turned green and I could only tail him, I was patient and waited until the car next to him slowed a bit. I pulled up and got next to him and gave it a rev. I tried to get his attention. It worked. We slowed a bit and I jumped it testing what he'd do. He bit, we were fairly even and took it from 35 to about 70. He slowed a bit and then when I was in front, the famous ricer drive by happened  Well, it was our luck that the approaching light turned red. I had this huge grin because I knew I'd hand him his a$$. I just wanted to play a bit. Well, the light turned green and we both jumped on it, the ground was a little moist and we both just spun a bit. I let off and then I gradually put my foot into it. I looked out of the corner of the window and could see his fender right next to the door, I popped it into second and it jumped out and got a little squirrelly, I let off again but I continued to pull when I got back into it. By the time I shifted into third he was back about 2 cars lengths. I shifted into 4th and he was in that spot, you know, the one when you look out the rearview mirror and you try to make out what it is behind you  just about 6 cars back. I let up and then he pulled next to me and his passenger and him gave me a thumbs up. I returned it and continued to drive to the interstate. I was thinking we could get at it again, the HP had different ideas, they were just over the hill with a car on the side of the road. I thought about trying once we passed then I remembered that Virginia likes to put a cop ahead of one that pulls a car over to catch people thinking the coast is clear to speed. Well, I think him and I were glad we cruised at the speedlimit because low and behold, another HP waited on the side of the road. I just turned up the radio and cruised home pacing this cute blonde in a 2.0T GTI. Little did I know she led me all the way to my exit :D I think its been a great night :guns:

Nice kill dude it's funny how much of a difference 5 hp and 60tq can do
|
Despite what Acura/Honda guys want to belive the RSX Type-S is more of a match for the SS 2.4 VVT.
Just like the over-hyped 06 Civic Si. |
nice dude and good call with the cruise

Good luck dude! MOST everyone on this site thinks, "horsepower sells cars and torque wins races."... only in tractor pulls. PEOPLE horsepower is more important then torque. Especially in FWD cars. Nice kill Doc on the wet ground. :twothumbs Good kill on the Acura. |

More HP makes you faster, and Torque gives you the quickness to get there. Plain and simple.
