Buddy let me take out his Mach 1 last night!
Me and my friend were out in my friends Mach 1 last night while he was in his lightning, we beat an 88 notchback 5.0 on nitrous bya fender, an sr20det Swapped 240sx by 2 cars and i missed 3rd gear(me and this guy go round and round about my Redline beating him), his modded lightning, a 1.8t jetta, a GT v6 tiburon, 97 mustang gt, and we were toying around with an 02-03 M3 and an 03 bmw M5 which was really fun, we were telling everyone it was a GT hehe cause it has no badges or front lip, different rims with drag radials. It was a very fun car to drive, i definatly want one now.Car pulls like a ******* raped ape from a 1st gear punch. Just thought i would share my experience driving his car, feels alittle slower from a 40+roll then my Redline though......But my friend is very lucky, he has this Mach 1 and a modded 2000 lightning with 20's on it with a freshly built motor.

you should drive one that's got the usual bolt ons and 4.1's...fun stuff. But yea mach's are fun cars, they mod pretty decently too. They are pretty much a tad behind the ls1's in every way, until you start camming em, then the difference becomes greater, but if you don't like the looks of ls1's but you want a similarly powered car in a similar price range, the mach's a great choice. go for it you wont regret it.

Ya we think he has more then just a Catback on the car.....It spanked his pullied, tuned, intake, exhaust lightning which is good for at least a 104-105 trap by probably3 cars. He likes to tell people his cars dont have much done to them.....When in fact they do. But i really want an Orange one now, i think they are so fun, much more exciting to drive then my LSJ.

I love Machs, I almost bought a Comp Orange Mach1 and I kick myself that I didn't. The orange was only made in 04 and is EXTREAMLY rare in any trim of Mustang. I think only 3XX Comp Orange Machs were made.

Hmmm i dont know what size pulley he has, but it has a custom tune on it....I think the huge rims are holding it back, they might be 22's and not 20's...Im not sure, but a very quick truck which leaves us to believe this Mach 1 has more done then he says, were thinking its got full exhaust, a tune and gears.

How do you know it was a mach what was different looking?
Also it doesn’t take that much to make a Mach1 look “clone”, you can do it for around $1000.

Dude Machs do not dyno that low, no matter kind of dyno it’s on. You’re trying to convince people that actually know what they are talking about and it’s not going to happen. The numbers you posted were dead on for a GT, NOT a Mach1

What does a mach 1 have that a GT doesn't? a different tranny?

Obviosly you don't anything about Mach1s. Mach1s dont have a different rear bumper, they dont have interior badges, and depending on year(04) they don't have differnt exterior badges other than one on the back.
What was the paint job?

It was a GT, plain and simple. What do you mean by engine bay?
