Called out by a 2007 JETTA GLI..
Does anyone know if the gli's are fast? any advice will be helpful. My co-workers Gli is stock by the way and my 09 Cobalt SS tc only has a downpipe+ exhuast....
race for pinks and $$$$
Race for as much money as you can get because you'll destroy that thing stock vs stock your car is lighter as well as having significantly more power.
I just bought my 09 cobalt ss and it is fun to drive. Could anyone tell me whatis the besy gear to start from in a roll race?
races for pinks from a dig, gets throttle happy and burns the clutch up
what speed? 40roll 2nd gear 60-70 roll 3rd gear |

Nooooo Monicaaaaaa
IF that gli thing is stock he should end up owing you a lot of money they aren't fast or even quick, peppy at best
Just don't miss a gear.
Let someone hold the money so he can't back out.
can you guys tell me how long it will take to tune my car with trifecta? is it a quick process?
haha no
Get ready for a long process |
I'm going to recommend HP tuners first of all or check to see if you have a local tuner, I have one that's good local but in the end I still switched to HP tuners because it's an hour away to my tuner. You can be done in a day if you have a good person to work with.
Don't play around with Trifecta, get it HP tuned.
Stock for stock you got it...quickest and easiest power bump for you would be gms1. ..but hptune would be beast
Your outcome: Stock=cars Gms1=buses Hptune=freight train Hptune e85=back to the future |
I'm new to the tunes since this is my first sports car. By the way, what's the difference from both tunes?
Does anyone know where I can buy a gms1?
Dealership is the only place you can get their tune and keep your warranty (if you have one), but if you go with a custom tune I'd try to get the 3bar sensors anyways.
CED sell the kits too...and I think they ate PnP. Would need to go to dealer to flash the tune. Price varies per dealer. Hptune is worth it but you would need hptuners to email or drive to tuner, or a local shop with it that knows how to tune lnf
After I tune my Cobalt SS will I ever need another tune?

If you are hptuned as you add mods it would be best/necessary to retune to accommodate that mod. |
