Cobalt SS 2.4 L vs. G35/Cobalt SS vs. Cobalt SS
Two races here didn't want to make 2 threads.
1st race.
I was on Rt. 80 near Totowa (for those who live in NJ) and a G35 pulls out and floors it and hits the brakes. I catch up to him and then he honks three times when i behind him and we both take off from about 65 mph. Until about 105 mph we were dead even. When he hit 110 he just flew. I know a G35 is a hell of a lot of faster then my car so I don't know how I kept up for that long? I was thinking he mightve had a manual and did the worst shifting in the history of G35's but, I could hear the shifts or automatic shifts and they seemed fine quite confused.
2nd race
On 287 my friend and member here wanted to race. he has a 2006 Cobalt SS 2.0 SC I have a 2006 SS 2.4L. The first run we did from a 50 he beat me by 3 car lengths we decided to stop at 100. 2nd run he shifted from 2nd to 5th by accident and I beat him by 2 car lengths. The 3rd time we did a 50 roll and he beat me by 3.5 car lengths. Pretty much what I was expecting I know they are faster. His only mod is an injen intake. I have none currently on my car.
