Cobalt SS/SC vs. a WHAT?!
 

So i'm out tuning a friends car (Stryder) since he recently got his meth kit on and things working fine...we did a good 2 hours of tuning and got to about 21/22 degrees timing before 1 degree of some knock retard...so we called it good for now...cruising right along a 2004 Yamaha R6 rolls up tryna be mister hot shot...Now mind u stryder is a chill relaxed kinda guy he just kicks back...So as im screaming at him to race this dude he FINALLY dumps it into third...bikes right there riding his ass until about the top of third...part way thru 4th stryder has about 4-5 car lengths on the R6....we were going to do it again but the dude got pissed and took off on a nice fly by...i bet he wants a cobalt now....

i consider myself a realist. that is a 11 sec bike easy if its a 600

an 04 r6? lol..nowai..i had an 06 R6(rip) that couldnt pull on c6's until about 120-130

could have sworn it was?

its believeable...i've left a bike from a roll before...of course, it was an older Ninja...

on my r6 forum most runs with a good driver are 11.8s stock

aren't they trapping close to 120 though? I just dont see a cobalt that traps signifacantly less pulling one hard. I think he was in the wrong gear

it was a roll race...like i said on my (way more powerful) 06 R6 ive been pulled on by worse lol..especially if u dont have time to dump it down enough gears...still...got beat by a car..lol

i gaurantee the guy did not down shift...i have a yzf600r..its a little slower than an r6 and my friends 240 with a skyline motor in it pushin 320hp would fall back a couple of cars still hung though pretty good but there is no way that guy downshifted..but still believable

If you think for one second you beat that bike or any relatively new sport bike (600+cc) for that matter your smoking crack, plain and simple, R6s trap mid 120s in that year. Hell even older 600s trap in the mid-high 11X. I’ve raced a handful of bikes and even older 600s are no joke and I think my Mustang is a little quicker than that Cobalt. And to think you put 4-5 car lengths on a bike that was actually trying is absolute insanity.

What? Bikes die out up top they don't get stronger and a C6 has a way better chance of taking a bike out a 120+. 06 R6s trap high 120s more than enough to beat a C6 from any speed.
