I believe the Dodge Spirit R/T had the same motor in it as the Dodge Daytona Iroc, they were super rare and nice sleepers.

I'm curious, race him and let us know the out come.

Why wouldn't you race him? They are more than capable of being nasty. He may surprise you.

This ^^^

They are a very capable motor, especially when built. Car will hurt feelings.

first of all let me apologize for sounding arrogant and cocky. i should of included some
background information about this. actually this guy comes up to me at least once a week
and tells me he has something for me. usually its a friends car or a car he is thinking
about buying. lol. he has told me he wants to run me with probably 6-8 different cars
and none of them have ever happened. i am not a dodge hater, i have owned a couple
of them actually. i never judge a book by it's cover. you guys are right, if he produces this
car i WILL race him. i just might get embarrassed. lol.

I've grown up around turbo dodges and owned one myself. My friend (who's passed away) had a 91 R/T. Grand National turbo, 2 stock intercoolers welded together, +40% injectors, PCM and exhaust. He ran 12.80@108 @ 14psi.

These are cars that ran low 14's and did 150+ mph stock. Be careful, if it has a few mods you may be in for a surprise. It's a car I would LOVE to own one day, I just need to find the right one.

^^tr-tr-triple post!

If he actually has the car...that's awesome. Those things are ultra rare. Kinda like the early '90's Dodge Duster/Shadow thing...I wanted one of those sooo bad

You should run him, back in their hayday those could run a 14 something stock. They are like the old school SRT4 of their time.
