Went to the country's biggest weekly car show today here in Michigan. Roughly 600-700 cars there. Old friend I haven't seen in a while showed up with his new LS3 Corvette with a Procharger (not sure what size) and another friend decided to set up the race and then let me know as we were leaving the show.
We started at 40, he honked, and we were off. I pulled out about 1/2-3/4 car length through 2nd gear (to 82ish), and 3rd fought me so he brought his front bumper back to my front wheel. Shifted into 4th (about 125ish) and my front bumper was at his front wheel when we let off.
He's got that turquoise blue color, absolutely love it on those Vette's.

Vid would of been WIN regardless of outcome. In my head when i picture your race i lose concentration when i try to add in the noise BWAAHHHaaAAAHH! WaaahhhHHH! Prolly couldnt hear any of the chargers charging lol

Well we almost didn't even get to run. We hopped on the highway, lined up, but then there was an accident ahead so we had to go around. We got lucky though and got an empty straightaway before his exit and we were both alone.

What blower is on your Cobra? that vette should easily make over 600whp... a local shop slapped a whipple on a LS3 camaro and it made 630ish with stock everything lol. i think it had bigger fuel injectors and a K&N drop in lol

I would guess that LS3 is around 575-580 WHP if its just a basic paxton kit seeing as they put down 370 with an auto and 380 M6 stock (some can get into the 390's stock but thats not the average from what I've seen ) . I've seen some basic procharger dyno's as low as 540 wheel if there only running 7 psi. 540 is pretty low considering how much better LS3 heads flow over LS2's ...but every dyno's different so take it for what it is.
We have a paxton LS2 C6 and it gained almost exactly 200 whp on the dyno .... 365 whp with intake Corsa and tune to 568whp / 545Wtq with a paxton sl1500 on 8psi with corsa sport .
The guys at Eastcoast supercharging said someone at the factory took some extra time on our motor cause its about 20whp/30wtq higher than an average LS2/blower dyno.... and that it was right there with some of the stock LS3 blower dyno's they have done.

Shibito .... what does your cobra weight? From what i've seen it's over 3600 lbs but I don't trust that for some reason.
Seeing as a base C6 is a tick over 3200 lbs your giving up a good amount of weight to one.
I found a basic procharger dyno and it's a little lower than I guessed... but is only running 6-6.5 PSI.

My car weighs 3650lbs, so 3870(ish) with me. The C6 had a passenger, but they're both smaller then me. I would guess that the driver was 160(ish) and the passenger was 200(ish).
You're acting like he should have walked me over a 400lb difference on similiar powered cars. 400lbs is not a huge difference.

Me? ..... Not how I ment it to come across at all. I was backing your claim on how the average procharge kit doesn't add 200whp. So I was responding to the people who thought the C6 should have been faster ...... when in reality it is fricken fast . Didn't mean to offend u in anyway..... I was on your side in this but guess I worded it wrong. I brought up weight to show how the Vette had the advantage but yet your making the power to kill off the difference.....

I like it! Seems on paper to be a good match up, though I'm betting he's thinking of upping the ante on his install after being so close to being chewed on!
