E85 S256ET LNF vs. '02 750 Gixxer

Well, I guess me and another guy on a 750 Gixxer got talked into running each other this weekend by a few other people. I think I'll pull him pretty good as its an older bike. We'll find out though and I'll try to get it on camera. I dynoed at 508/473 on my high boost setting. He wants a dig and a roll and I'm getting pretty good at pedaling through the S256ET so we'll see.

You will win. I trap about 134 on my 2011 750. But older ones are barely in the 120's.

Youl take him for sure from the roll. If its a 60 roll you should ease on it to maintain traction a little better.

There is no easing really with as quick as it currently spools, I'm seeing full boost at just a lil over 3krpns. Just gonna have to pedal through it!

I pulled an 07 GSXr-750 with 230lb rider, lighter wheels, exhaust, tune while i was on my 93 tune and 24psi. You should be able to walk an 02.

Oh and leave on the 2nd honk.

Well, I'm waiting on my new t3 gasket. Paid for USPS Priority and it shipped out Monday. They misrouted it or it could have been here today. Going to hopefully be able to get it on tomorrow afternoon, heatcycle it, and retighten the bolts then bend over my tabs to keep those damned bolts from backing out again. I already talked to the guy and said "Look, If I lose then I lose to a 750 street bike which everyone knows are fast. If you lose then you lose to a 500hp car so either way we won't look bad." Lol

I think you will be pleasently suprised(especially against that year model). Hell maybe he even sucks at riding, i had two 600s try to run me the other day and i wasnt even sure they were trying because they werent gearing down enough.

Well, no runs....the guy with the bike had a dead battery and everyone else gave some reason to not run me. I've been told by a friend though that he would next week, hell I just want to try out the new setup!

hmmmm well we know that from a dig, you'll get raped but from a 40-60+ run it will be close unless its a really old bike. Do you know what year? I'm not saying you won't beat him, I'm cheering for you but it really comes down to how good of a rider he is. My buddy has a 730whp S2000 and loves racing bikes. Most of the time he'll get them but as he says " It all depends on what gear your in on the bike" as he stated that if from...lets say a 60 roll he drops down to 1st and the engine is screaming..... then most likely the guy knows what he's doing. If from that speed he starts in 2nd or even more stupid "3rd" then you will rape him for sure. I'm speaking for more on the 1 liter bike side of the house though. to me 750's are rare unlike 600's and 1000's around here. I know I can smash on a 600, np. Haven't raced a liter bike yet and when I do I do I'm sure to get raped but that's fine.

Again, it all depends on the rider and the gear he is in. Good luck and hope to see a vid of you raping.

2002 GSXR 750. I went to another local meet cause two dumbasses in wrxs raced right in front of a cop. I showed up and just missed a guy on an older busa that apparently had been talkin smack. I prob wouldn't have won unless the guy couldn't ride very well, but atleast I would have had some fun. Apparently the R6 I ran on 93 on a really rich tune was on par with an older busa at the track.

A busa in a straight line is crazy on the topend. I mean, its a 1.5l isn't it? that engine isn't that big of a difference compared to your 2.0 beside stroke, .5l and bore. The thing with Busa's though is that they are heavy, I mean Power/Weight ration is still on their favor for miles compared to a car but top end for sure. How fast have you gotten the Cobalt too? I mean, evne lets say you have gotten it up to 155mph, a bike can get to that pretty darn quick, 750-Busa included. Well, as long as there is no money involved and your doing it for fun, then you are good. Good luck.

It was a 1300. I'm also a 2.1L. But yeah, I can get up to about 150 or so from a 60 in a lil less than a quarter mile. It will go over 160, wasn't paying attention to speed in a downhill run with my buddy's fully bolted and tuned 5.0.
