I've raced 20g SRt-4's with 1000cc injectors, sheppard trans, running ethanol granted his PCM is a stage 1 diablo tuned and he fried his original so obviously he wasn't running full power but come on it wasn't like it was lacking a ton of power. ( impedance issues )

A lot of stage 3's here also and I haven't had one of them pull me... these aren't just encounters these are my friends with these cars.

All that is different on my ride is the FMIC and a CIA Cold air intake.. My car pulls stage 3's pretty hard too..

I donno man either driver mod or something isn't right , your car should be pulling a lot more on that stage 3 if indeed it really is just stage 3..

Yeah running meth and e85 with about every bolt on imaginable ...
Maybe its in the tuning, im running 18 degrees of timing. Idk but the SRT is a low 12 second car on street tires and traps 117, granted he has other bolt-ons as well.

Stage 3 SRT-4 is about 350-360 whp. They have a bigger turbo.

HP ranges too much on the S3 to say they make X amount of power. I know a guy that runs 23psi on meth with HOM and has trapped almost 122 in the 1/4. This guy is only on 19.5 without HOM..the car isn't that quick.

And all the people calling it a big turbo, yeah it's bigger than stock but it's still a baby turbo for Srt's. My turbo is a bit bigger and it's still small over all.

By the way anyone notice he started a 40 roll in 3rd? That should have been way out of his powerband.

Good runs.

Stage 3 turbo is much larger than the LNFs K-04. Most stage 3s at 20 psi put down 350-360 whp from what I have seen. The LNF Balt in that race is approx 320-330 whp.

Sure it's bigger than the Stock TC and SRT turbo, but I said it's still one of the smaller turbo's in the Srt world.

You mention the HP diff. Him starting in third is why the TC got the initial jump.

BTW: before the ragers. I bring no hate.

SRT-4 is geared a ton lower overall though. Our 2nd gear is 1.78 : 1 ratio and our FD is 3.82. IIRC SRT-4s 3rd gear is a 1.55: 1 or so and they have a 4.10 FD. Our third gear is damn near a 4th gear at 1.18 : 1.

Guy says he started in 3rd because he thinks he spins too much in 2nd. I'm watching a thread he made and he seems to be having a decent amount of problems with the car.

"not bad at all considering you may have a ripped diaphram on your agp, boost leaks and crappy tires
good kill josh"

(guy that owns it) "Ill try to post some more videos when the car is running better Thanks Tom, even with these pretty significant fails we were able to get the job done. "

It didn't have a boost leak lol I would have heard a significant one also tires didn't matter, he didn't spin. Also what he mean by running better probably uping the boost, because he told me his car was fixed up and ready to run. The races were from atleast a 50, because I just ask the person who was in my car and he said 50-55.

If tires didn't matter and he didn't spin he would have went in 2nd (which he said was useless). You wont be able to hear his boost leaks going WOT beside him. He said himself he is still chasing a few problems and all runs where from 45. Oh well, whatever,

Problem problems problems... Why ******* race if you have so much problems? I hate when people do this or say " o yeah I spin in 2nd cause of crappy bald tires". Really then buy some tires that hook instead of whinning...

Idk, looked like a good run to me. The SRT was definitely at a disadvantage being in 3rd, but he still pulled so no doubt the Dodge is the quicker car here. I was pretty impressed at how well the 2 Balts actually kept up, especially the TVS. Good runs and good vid!

Oh yea, what size pulley does it take to get a TVS up to 25lbs? Assuming full exhaust.

Thats about it for that set-up then, unless he added a shot.

It'd be nice to know the traps of that SRT as it sat in the race.

Wait till it's running 100%, high octane, sticky tires and 25+psi.. You see what BB runs on that turbo with 23psi.

No. I refuse

BB pretty much sets the bar for us, imo. You're not far from him from what I can tell. I'm just afraid you're going to have to do somethings to keep it all in one piece. Trans, mounts, axles, stuff like that.

He said he I trapped the same as him in the 1/8th both on streets. He has already knocked off an 11.7 on slicks. Said he could have knocked it down to a 11.5 with the new WGA and wot but his trans ate it's self. Pretty sure he is done with the strip now. Next summer I'll be way up on power going from 22.4psi on 93 to 27/28psi on either 110 or E85. Not saying it will run it, but the car should be good for low 11's on slicks...I already have full AGP mounts..I want to keep the axles the weak link. Just hope I don't end up spending $2500 on a built trans aswell. He had a lot of passes on it so I hope I can be good with just a few visits.
