Next summer I'll be way up on power going from 22.4psi on 93 to 27/28psi on either 110 or E85. Not saying it will run it, but the car should be good for low 11's on slicks...I already have full AGP mounts..I want to keep the axles the weak link. Just hope I don't end up spending $2500 on a built trans aswell. He had a lot of passes on it so I hope I can be good with just a few visits.
Its good to have a cheap weak link, imo. Better the axles than the trans. BB has a **** ton of passes on that trans, on slicks. I think as little as you visit the track, you'll be just fine for quite some time.

That S3 SRT is moving a WHOLE lot more air than either of the Cobalts and that is apparent as they move through the gears. That 18G is running well within its efficiency range where as the LNF Cobalt almost certainly was running close to the edge of its efficiency if not off the chart. I dont think the harrop can move as much air either...

The Harrop has the superior powerband, but thats about it. Definitely a good thing to have, but all that goes out the window when the other two cars are making that much more peak power.

Hopefully he isn't done with the strip. I hate to hear stories like this. Someone breaks something at the strip and then they are just done. That is so gay. So now he'll make claims just like he told you, "COULD have went 11.5s yadda yadda yadda" but now he'll never know for sure and just make all sorts of rediculous claims on the street.

Sorry, but I'm just not a fan of people like that.

eh, that 18g on the stage 3 srt doesn't really make big peak numbers. They tend to have wide powerbands too.

This guy isn't like that, I assure you. He's not some kid with an SRT. He's just getting out of drag racing and into some cone dodging.

True enough. It kind of depends on what its strapped to though. At any rate, it still doesn't have the flat curve that the TVS does. I do hear what you're saying though.

Plus he has thrown around the idea of getting a 2011 GT to replace the SRT on the strip.

I raced a 50trim nsrt4 from 40. I put 2 cars on him because he was spinning and had about half a car on him by the end of third, then ran out of road. On a side note, he was only running 18psi on stock dp/catback and is breaking up in high rpm. I'm surprised I did that well. The srt put down 375whp with a 3" catless tbe on 22psi.

By the way anyone notice he started a 40 roll in 3rd? That should have been way out of his powerband.

Good runs.

D44 in sig?

and yes out of the powerband for sure, i personally think if i were driving i could have made it from 2nd but the owner of the car came out of a Civic Si so its been taking me some time to get him used to not having to rev the car high to get the goods. He can drive but this is his first turbo car also the fastest car hes owned.

Nah you just have meth and a combo tune. OP's LNF on meth and a combo tune would beat that SRT-4.

when ryro14 was on his "330whp" Trifecta tune my 03' Neon RT with 2.4T swap (DCR oil flow modifier, BS delete and AC delete being only mods) running 8psi through an AGP Delta turbo , neon rt 2.25in exhaust and untuned i was working him right up til his shifter pop off the cable. Imagine that haha so im curious how he would fare with his terminator2 tune now and my 15psi

I was arguing that the sensors dont matter, i realize i have more mods then him. But i wasnt on meth or trifecta when i raced those srt's so your point is moot.

well marka and ryro will agree it was all pretty quickly arranged, we did what we needed to, chilled and went about our way. I was under the impression there were no hard feelings but apparently ryro has some. If you really feel like you could have done better just let us know we will once again drive out your way for a rematch ok ryro?

This cars on a Dtec base map. I'm sure if they did a fuel return and used the AEM EMS they have in the closet it'd put down 450ish no problem.
