I am sad
Well the race never happened... 9:30 last night the car still wasn't right they said. Don't see it happening next weekend because I'll be at the drag strip and the 2 weeks after that I'll be in PA looking for Cobalts to harass!
Thats unfortunate. Listening to his excuses are pretty funny tho. I mean My car will rape anything too, it just needs some more work and then it will undefeatable
^Thats pretty much what hes saying. "Its really fast, you cant handle it once I build the engine and get the tuning right and slap on a bigger turbo"

Well he better go ahead and start over again because my next build for the 300 is a VG33 bored out to 3.4L, forged bottom end boost and juice!
Then again I should just race him with the turbo 385ci small block I'm building... That would be the lulz

I'll mainly be in the Carlisle/Mechanicsburg area but I'm down to hit other places. I'll be in Scranton a couple days too.
I have most of the short block together. Light weight 4340 crank, with forged I-beam rods, thermal coated forged pistons and RHS 235 heads. The heads are bare still, need to get valves and rockers. Also have an adjustable timing belt drive setup. I'm still debating on the cam, I'm wanting to turn this thing 7800-8000RPM. The turbo(s) is going to be the hard part. It is looking like it might actually be cheaper to run twins for the power goals I have. I may be buying a Dart block. Not sure how well the stock block is going to hold up. I guess we will find out.
