Just punched out my neighbor
 

I just bought a house two months ago,I had some company by tonight as they were getting ready to leave I hear some bottles being broken on the culdecsac in front of my place, now I did not see the kids doing it(18yearolds) but they were standing there at the edge of their driveway. so I go get a broom to sweep it up no big deal.Well my bud who just left my place phones me and tells me he got a flat from riding over the broken bottles, and ask me to deal with the parents, because they really dont want to deal with this friend of mine. so I go over there and ask to speak to the father,he comes out and i tell him what his kids are doin,he says to me "what do you want me to do about it" I said I dont care what you do about but my buddy is gonna want his tire replaced" Well this guy snaps and charges at me, his arms a flailing, well I defended myself I ended up giving him an open palm to the throat(did not mean to) and that stop him for a few secs so i thought it was over,Well he gets up and comes at me again, I give him a knee to the gut and an elbow to the lower neck this finally stops him. Well he got his composure back after a minute now he is calm and rational, and says he will deal with the kids and fix my friends tire.What bullshit none of this had to happen, I hate fighting, because i do not like to get angry and as other infantry personel (present/past) will agree, it is not worth it for us to get into with some one.This is bullshit go figure the kids parent is the biker type. After I bought the house it did seem there were a few rednecks in the neiborhood

Damn G5Mike, Well I would have done the same thing. You were just protecting yourself, dont worry about it. As far as your friends flat tire I would at least make a police report on it. That would protect him just incase a few days go by and no money for the tires.

P7X #2 - Next time, use a finger jab for the throat and let him lunge move ever so slightly to the left and kick the front side of his knee as u both move.

I did not want to hurt him though,just wanted to immobalise him,but it was an instictive move,It just sucks though to move to a new neiborhood and have this happen,I could care less if I was out doing my route some night and this happened, but he is the type that wont involve police because he is the tough biker type

I can understand just moving into a new neighbourhood, that is a piss off.

Damn that really sucks. You really dont want the cops involved cause all that will happen is his kids will say you struck him first for no reason. Way to take him down though.

Well I just spoke to him he came over to my house and apologised,he was very nice and said he is not a bad guy but had been drinking and did not know who I was, he was very sorry, you could tell he was embarresed by the whole thing or maybe because Im like 75 pounds less, he thinks I cracked his rib,but said not to worry,his wife was taken him for x-rays. Well since we talked like this it should be alot easier seeing him again
