Scythe vs Modded E46 BMW M3:

I was going down to a meet at the Route 41 drag strip in Indiana. So me and my two buddies with very fast AWD Galant VR-4s were cruising down there, and in our rear view mirror we see a C6 Z06, a M3, and an Evo. The Evo was lagging behind but the 1st two wanted to play. My buddy with the faster VR-4 went up to the Z06. He knew he was going to lose, but he wanted to run him anyway. He ends up losing by 1.5 cars to the z06, which isn't bad.

Now in the M3 there was a young guy with a fohawk and big sunglasses. He and his buddies were looking at me and laughing. BTW I had a passenger as well as the M3, who had 2. He flys by me and I follow, in 5th gear and get up next to him, doing 60. I downshift to 3rd and so does he. His buddies and him are still laughing. So, I honk it off 3 times, and he jumps on the 2nd one. So I punch it at my 3rd honk and catch him pretty easily. By the time I shifted into 4th I was 2 cars ahead of him. Then mid way through 4th I was about 3-4 cars ahead. I went around my friend that raced the z06 and got back in my lane, and then I let off. When my passenger looked back their jaws were dropped and they stayed back. The M3 was going to the strip as well, found out that he had carbon fiber trunk, rims, intake, and exhaust.

Cliff notes: beat the m3 with intake an exhaust by 3-4 cars.

Scythe vs K20 swapped Civic EX (full bolt ons)

Later that night, this kid with a fully bolted on k20 wanted to race me. We had been trying to set up a race for weeks. We had 1st met on a high way and that's when I broke the plastic connector in my shifter when I was racing him. So we've gotten our rematch.

then he wanted a we did a 35 roll and I beat him just as bad.

Then he wanted a few digs. I tried using the launch control for the first time. Wasn't bad:

He said his battery cable popped off a few times but he said it wouldn't have made a difference:

Scythe vs SRT-8 Jeep

All this time his buddy with a jeep SRT-8 was watching and he said he wanted to run with me. So we go from a dig. This was a FUN race:



So I lost that one. Found out he had full exhaust, intake, and a tune. thing was mean. Then a bunch of cruised down town and we did 2 more races

40 roll, I pulled 3-4 cars on him

60 roll, same outcome.

Scythe vs Evo X MR

So I have a buddy with a fully bolted AMS Evo X MR with the auto shifter. Intake, tune, FMIC, IC piping, downpipe, lowering springs, and exhaust. We cruised up there and we needed to run as he has been talking stuff for ever. So we get to a 40 roll. I honk it 3 times and I INSTANTLY pull 1-2 cars on him. Then I miss 3rd and he catches up again, we're neck and neck. I put it in 3rd and shift to 4th and I pull a fender still.

We did a bunch of races after that but there was miscommunication and there wasn't another good one.

Sadly not, K-Fields. My camera died before I raced the Evo X, and the M3 in the morning I didn't have my camera man with me. But just another passenger.

No slipping so far. but the car only has 9K on it. New car. =)

Yeah it does. I haven't been watching the RPD screen too much but I notice in a 2nd gear pull I'm only getting 21.7 psi, haven't looked at it since my last tune. I asked vince for a 22-24 psi tune.

Is yours holding at 24 or just spiking and settling?

Yeah.. the SRT-8 jeep vid was a flashback for me... I was at tnt in tulsa.. and we got paired up together. He ran a 12.9 stock. Those jeeps make the SRT-8 challenger look like a turtle. None the less good race. A few more mods and better launches and it would be a better run.

mine usually holds about 23 to 24 psi, in second it will spike like 25 psi sometimes and setlle back down

but boost can be affected by all kins of stuff, like air/gas/etc,

so if mine stays around 24 psi i am happy

I'd agree to this. Buddy had a CM on his balt. It wasn't the greatest, or at least he complained.
