im gonna say good kill, but what the hell? those are 14 sec trucks and with his mods he is in the low 14's, maybe even 13's. how is this even possible for you to beat like that? your mods give you like 2hp more than you started with. not bashing the car at all, but this is a tough one for me.

The 5.9l's had a big problem with their heads, it was the weakest link to that truck. If I remember correctly, it may have been Hot Rod did a test on the R/T dakota and put all these mods on it, headers, exhaust etc but couldn't get any gains out of it due to the restrictive heads and intake plenum. Since that story, I've never been scared or impressed by any 5.9l chrysler product.
Although it is surprising a SS na beat one which would make it a good kill to me!

saw this on NYSpeed..nice runs. I should come out that way some time, i wanna see how this piece of **** will stack up to an SS/NA before boost.
The reason the heads were shaved was because when the engine blew up with 59k on it, the engine builder found out the heads were warped pretty bad, hence they were machined down. Seems like those big V8's lack anypower in the top end?
