I have a friend that had an 08 wrx with a 20g swap. We did his front mount and he got a legacy trans put in (supposedly they can handle 400trq and the wrx tranny cant).
I ran him right after he dyno'd. he dyno'd 360whp/360trq. The 08 wrx is no different than the 09 wrx if your making those kinds of changes to your car. No doubt, an 09 wrx will put down 360whp under the same conditions.
My other friend had an 04 STi with a turbo swap, he had a 20g and then went with something else that I cant think of for the life of me. I remember he thought he was going to put down 400whp but his numbers were like 370whp.
Oh and the run I had with my buddy, we did 3 roll races. first two were a slaughter because he didnt go on the 3rd beep (he waited for a 4th beep). the third race was done right, I walked away from him slowly. top of 3rd, his front bumper was at my back bumper. Yes, subbies are overrated, hella expensive to mod and your outcome is not as fantastic as you'd like it. I think he spent close to $8k maybe more on all the mods he had.
