ss/sc vs. srt-4 vs. sti

Well, today at work one of the other techs. had his cousins (stock) STi in to do an oil change and stuff on and he wanted to run me in my ss. There is also a guy that works there with an SRT-4 with full exhaust, intake and WGA pushing 19psi. So after work the three of us rolled out to the highway for a couple runs....all races were from about a 40 roll.

First race was the STi and I...honked it off and I pulled a couple cars on him, maybe 2??? I knew he missed a gear or something so we did it one more time. Three honks and we were off again. This race was MUCH closer. Through second and third I managed to put the nose of his car at my rear bumper and pretty much held it there. I was pretty happy with that.

Now it was time for the SRT. He has been talking saying that he could beat me and this and that.....or at least that's what I've heard at work. We also raced twice from about 35-40 or so, and both raced turned out pretty much the same. Three honks and we were off. He held about at my door through second, then third I put about 3 cars on him and kept inching away.

Needless to say I was pretty happy with how the day went.....we'll see what they have to say Monday when I get back to work.

If i am comprehending what ur saying, then i would be a pissed off dude! As a tech and being at work, he shouldnt be racing any customers car even if it is his cousins car. I hope the cousin knows.

so ur telling me, that you wouldnt give a **** if ur cousin raced ur car?? i mean... damn... so if ur cousin raced ur car and wrecked it,broke something, or got it impounded, you wouldnt care?

I dont see anything wrong with the guy racing the car as long as the owner knew... and i dont see anything wrong with it if the owner was with him. To go off and race someone elses car without asking them, is just just wrong.

i understand the cousin was there... thats why i said the thing about comprehending what was being said...

why do you have a problem with it? its not the poster letting someone drive his car, nor it is about someone driving your car..
