I've got two different stories to tell here so I'll start with the race where I was stock, except airbox mod. I was on my way to Texas steakhouse with my wife and were on rt.119 which is a 55mph zone with a few stoplights and a lot of turnoffs for various stores and restaurants. I'm stopped at a light and about a 1/mile back I see what looks to be like a 02-05 GTI. I don't really know what years they stayed the same, but it was the last year before they changed to how they look now ( It had the different stock wheels). Anyway, he's slowly creeping up on me, my windows are down, sunroofs open, my wife's looking all dolled up and I guarantee this guy thought he'd waste me with my girl in the car! He finally gets beside with me slowed down to 40mph and he lets off the gas so I can hear his ***** excuse for a BOV as I lol. He punches it, then I do, immediately I pull very hard, I let off at around 85mph with him about a tractor trailor length and a half behind me, we get to next light, surprise surprise, he won't look at me.

Last night I only had my trifecta tune a few hours and was on the interstate taking a dvd back to walmart. I'm in the fast lane behind some tard going like 60mph and I notice a single headlight in my rearview that looks like it's about to touch my back bumper. I could tell its a motorcycle so I be courteous and put on my left blinker and go over two lanes. I then heard his loud exhaust. I thought "Why not?" and dropped it to third and gunned it, he didn't do anything so I let off. As soon as I let off I hear this retardedly loud exhaust so I hammer it again. We race from 70mph to about 120mph and he let off, so I did too. Believe it or not he was only about 20 feet ahead of me. We both got off the same exit going opposite directions and I can see it's blue and white and a newer body style, my guess would be a yamaha R6. When he let off, I noticed a flame shoot out his exhaust! I don't know jack about bikes but I thought he'd waste me. Well, now that I wrote a short story I hope you enjoy!

Oh definitely, I'm not hating on gti's, my friends got one and its wicked, I just pictured this guy thinking he'd blow off my doors with my wife in the car by the way he came up and beside me and blew off

I wandered when this would start. Like I said "I thought he would waste me." I know something was off, thats why I even mentioned the part about the flame coming out his exhaust, didn't know if that meant his bike was running poor or something.

I've been to Dunbar quite a few times. Only 40 minutes away down 64.

I own an 06 GLI DSG, and an 09 SS/TC. The GLI cannot touch it. In the top end area it has good pull. But I would be afraid to race a stock SS/SC in the GLI.

^^most likely but I give bikes no breathing room when it comes to racing, even if they jack up a shift they should still dominate, I don't know what happened with that bike, I bet he was pissed though.
