im shocked my stock tuned turbo with only a K&N drop in and ZZP intake tube, beat a porsche, ok to the story, im on my way from a car show at MIS with a first gen viper trailing behind me i get to a free-way entrance ramp and toy with the viper, i get on the free way doing like 120 slow down and the viper blows by, which i enjoyed hearing its sound, next thing i know this porsche comes flying by me up to the viper and trys to race him which they viper will not play, i down shift and come up next to the porsche, he looks and down shifts we run from 70 and pulled a car had to slow for traffic, so he goes and says one more i missed a gear, we go from 60 i jumped late hes only got half a car and i start realing him in once again traffic. he slows thinking hes won and rides the middle lane as we go through a devider, i slow down for him and ask one more run i wasnt ready he laughs so i was like come on i want a real race, so he says fine once again we run from 60, im neck and neck with him NLS to 4th and pull a car start pulling hard in 4th about 3 cars droped off at 125, he comes up saying whats done to your car i said stock he goes BS next exit were getting off and your proving it, so we go to a gas station and i show him hes shocked and asks me how much will it cost him to pick one up i thould him might find one for 13k if your lucky. we shook hands said good race and went our ways got a pic of his car.

Awesome. Goes to show you what this car will do with a stock tune. With a good tune, catless dp and intake I have beaten many cars I thought I would lose to. I have angered a lot of unsuspecting ricers etc. The TC has earned a decent rep now though so not too many people take the bait. Latest victim was an LT1 Bird driver who was tailing me and being an ass in traffic... Once things cleared he got up beside me,gave me the **** eating grin, and proceeded to stomp the pedal and laugh at me on the on ramp. I put about 12 cars on him and he would not catch back up. Same with this other loser a couple months ago in 4.6L shitstang convert with bassani's and a chrome roll bar. This guy was a real asshat though as he was at my buddy's shop while I was changing wheels openly dissing my ride. It felt good to shut him up. I have seen him 3 or 4 times now out on the road and he wont come anywhere near me, especially with his gf in the car cause he know I'll walk him and then tap her.

Good run, sounds like the porsche driver was pretty cool too.

my dad has a 911 carrerra s, and honestly its not the fastest car in the world, it handles real nice but after 60 mph it feels like it doesnt have much to give, but from a dig it has unbelievable traction and first gear is a real ass kicker.

LOL i love beating on stangs, my friend is a mustang owner and lover ever since the BASE beat his 5.slow he wants one. up here the balts get no respect, slowbalt is what they call them where i go, but most of them ive beaten there BS cars

my buddy beat a porsche in mine, wish I woulda been there to run it, he cant drive for **** and still won lol. cobalts dont get respect anywhere, Ive outrun new 5.0's, cammed ss camaros, srt-4s, sti's the list goes on and on, and i still get "its just a cobalt" so I just brush it off and keep racing.

Feels good being stock and keeping up with or beating cars you wouldn't think possible. The look on their faces vary but they're always good for a laugh when you tell them you're stock.

I wish I had a picture of the older guy driving a Charger SRT-8 that I walked on and waved as I past him and his wife. So angry, so awesome.
