SS/TC vs 300 srt 8

As I was driving to Kalahari on the turnpike I spotted from awhile a way a 300 srt8 with huge aftermarket exhaust on it so of course I sped up just a little and as soon as I got close to him he floors it! I was not expecting that so I followed him for alittle while and then flashed my lights and he slowed down. It's just one guy with no plates on his car and some nice ass looking gauges. It looked like it had a lot of work done. We slowed down to about 70 which I was trying to slow down to 60 but he wasn't slowing down anymore so I counted it down. I was in fourth gear which sucked but it was still pretty fun. I had a full car with about an extra 500 pounds on top of my 190lbs. I gunned it and was in front of him for a couple seconds then he flew around me loud as f**k. Then he slowed down and I asked him how much to the crank? He told me 515!!!!
I feel like if I didn't have 3 more people then him it would of been closer and if it was my ideal 3rd gear 60mph roll.

I have a video but it won't let me upload it.

515 flywheel is just 45 over stock. That could just be his estimates with intake, exhaust and a tune.

It wasn't the new 300. This was the 2009 or 2010 srt8 with 425hp stock.

He had to have had a lot of work done to it to make 515.
I wish I knew how to upload the video

Op what are your mods?

Also my dad has a srt8 300c with full exhaust and a diablo sport tune. I'll get video of my full bolt on and tuned lnf against him when it gets a little warmer.

Yeah honestly I hate how everyone says that they are too heavy and that makes them slow. Hell no those things will put you to your seat!! Even stock they are pretty damn quick imo

The website should allow direct videos to be posted here instead of just the link of Youtube, simply because a lot of people including me would prefer not to post there races on YouTube!

They need a power adder to be quick.

I handle them with the M62 just fine.

Put your vid on youtube...easiest way.

2nd goes til about 60 so 70 isn't much for 3rd. You''ll learn.
