I expected you to pull him...weird. I ran a 302 stroker 4v same body style and had no issues pulling on him. He must be running a pretty good cam in it.

 

He got you pretty good on the hit. I as well expected more from your car. Oh well good runs.

yeah like i was saying in my other war story thread... feel like my tune is off... even tho i got retuned about a month n a half ago and everything was fine, idk, gonna go with HPtuners lol

no, theyre ss/na wheels, already got BFG drag radials on em, with spacers

Lol a stroked 4v on spray i bet would kill 99% of the people on here at the track so im not shocked you lost on the street.. seeing as they can run high 12's pretty much stock i bet that's a sub 10 second setup if he can get it to hook outta the hole! nice runs either way!

Yeah I'm not seeing a stock Mach 1 running 12s....

 

HIGH 12's low low 13's pretty much all day long stock, throw in a stroked 4v and spray to the best flowing mustang motor ever and I wonder what will happen ... Either way op nice runs like stated above. i dont know what the O.P runs in the quarter but im still not shocked he could not put a few car's on a mustang that for sure has more power/tq than his balt, be realistic people! his posting of all in good fun makes me think he KNEW he was going to lose before the race even started..

mach ones can run deep into the 12's before even touching spray,F/I, or a stroker and pull 2.0 60 ft's or BETTER pretty much stock too...

muscle mustangs and fast fords hit 13.1 in a stock mach 1 off the lot in 2003(how many years before a cobalt TC?)
someone on the Mach registry got into the 12's with nothing more than a K&N CAI.... he lives in Canada. Not a surprise with some nice crisp weather and low altitude.

I dunno... I only found ONE low 13 sec time. I never had a problem with them in my old Turbo Spec V and that was slower than my car now. Sorry, Mach 1s are slow stock. Booooo....

 

Before he dis the stroker, he was hitting 12.9s and its a lot quicker than before

If deep into 13's is slow stock than an SS/TC in stock form is REALLY SLOW, seeing as BONE STOCK they dont crack 13's according to any mag ive read and people that i know that own one and the drag times listed on THIS forum! Yeah once tuned they can crack 13's and deep into it but not stock! im not trying to bash or be a dick but be realistic people!

MM&FF... Astute readers of MM&FF will note that we've tested both the '03 and the '04 Mach 1 in past issues where we recorded quarter-mile elapsed times of 13.13 and 13.15, respectively, both at 105 mph

and another.... the Mach 1 responded with a 13.54 at 103.14. We've heard about other Mach 1s dipping into the 13.20s with more experienced drivers.

in a manual '03-'04 mach 1, they are running 13.2-13.5, and automatics run 13.7-14.0...
3300-3400lbs and 305hp.
Cobras's of the same years are running 12.2-12.7 all day with 390hp..
That 4.6 modular engine was a classic and is better than any mustang motor till the new 5.0 came out last year...
I love my cobalt, but would love to have a modular mustang more...

 

I got alot of respect for the lsj/lnf platform. But i just wish some people were more realistic about what they can beat seeing as there are not many 12 second car's on this board. if this mach one was running 12.9 before spray and stroker i bet he knew it was going to be a loss pretty much no matter what. Which is awesome cause he had the ***** to run them and take a loss like a man ON VIDEO. Not oh my this that and other excuse as to why he lost. Good runs O.P. i just wish some of these guys shared the **** they be smoking...
