stock 2010 MS3 vs turbo lsj haha

Coming back home from wallmart i run into this guy at a redlight with the ms3 he sees my balt and laughs with his friend next to him. i have my windows down just chillin waiting for the light to turn green and when he yells asking if i was stock...lol apparently he missed the front mouth as i got there( i thought to my self). so i told no am a gm stage 2!! i asked him if he was modded and he tells me yea!! i have an INTAKE!! hahaha...SO he says lets do a 40 because he spins too much from 1st so i almost told him i spin too much on 2nd lol but i forgot i had told him i was gm stg 2 so i stayed quite lol

we took off and when we got on 40mph he beeps and in a matter of seconds while am spinning in 2nd gear i put about 1 1/2 on him lol when i switch to 3rd in about 6800rpms not even finishing gear i had about 6-8 cars ahead when i hit the brakes.

he did a not too fast ricer flyby calling me an ******* out his window, while i was looking at them with a sneaky smile hahaha

Idk what you guys are talking about, they're just as fast stock vs stock as the ss/tc and make power just as easily. I just prefer the handling and power curve of the TC more. If I wasn't able to find a basically new (3500kms) TC like I did I probably would have bought one.

Good kill though, and I love it when people get pissed off when they expected to win.

If you're GM Stg2 and you're spinning tires in 2nd gear... you need better tires.

And if you put that many cars on him that fast, he sucks at life. Those cars are actually pretty damn quick in stock form. 1-2 cars would have been more understandable of a win.

crazy wrong... My dude had a gt3076 on his, When I had an CAI/CP/DP w/ a trifecta tune an he bareeeeeeeeeely got me from a roll up to about 130ish.. from a dig I stomped him, but i blame his tires.. when I was stock+K&N drop in filter my other buddy couldn't keep up (guy who I was talkin bout in the other post)

And jonathan923 wat were you talkin bout in the OP? Whats on the front mouth...?

If he has a GT3076 on his car... and your 280-310whp car kept up... something is wrong with him/his car.

Martel18SS's statement was fairly accurate. With 2 good drivers, the MS3 and SS/TC (both stock) should be a decently good race... definitely not a Bro Rape though.

Crazy wrong, there's a guy in town with CPs, intake, exhaust and a couple other things I forget his friend was saying and a tune pushing 400whp on the stock k04. Yeah that sounds like just as much as a tc would make, if not more.

400whp seems like a huge stretch for a K04... 300-350 would be a lot more believable.

I'm thinking both of y'all might be right, he had gotten his car tuned by a local shop out here.. Out of the 20ish "TUNER" shops in this local area, there's maybe 1 I would go to to change my spark plugs (I got my exhaust an rear lip put on by a local shop, I had to go back 5 times to get them to fix it, before I jus fixed everything myself) Ima hit him up tomorrow an see wats up tho cuz it was definitely nuthin crazy compared to my car w/ bolt ons an a tune..

For reference, I raced a Stock 2010 MS3 and a GM Stg2 (with 2.8" Pulley) SS/SC in my 86 GTI. The MS3 and I were side-by-side from 40 to 120mph... and the SS/SC got me by a car, maybe a car and a half.

The new MS3's start out at $23,000, iirc... Wouldn't call that half the price.

All the MS3's I've had pleasure racing with have all been very slow... I've raced 3. one was stock one had an intake and one had intake, exhaust, dp, and tune, none of which were close races... And I was only on 11 -13 PSI at the time of those races haha

Yep. Street racing is like being in the special olympics. Even if you win your still mentally challenged

actually the ms3 cant make power as easily as the LNF. I had a 2008 ms3, loved it, miss it, but they just dont and their gearing is short.

ms3's generally can be beat as they arent big turbo swapped, if you run into a turbo swap then you'll have a lose or a good race.
