because they are all gay, everyone starts cursing at eachother.. then it breaks out into knife fights.. usually any gto related thread is bad news over here.

I think the main reason they get locked is because some of the GTO owners say some stupid stuff and some cobalt owners dont even want the GTO trolls around. But there are some good ones around.

I think it's because the mods get sick of seeing non cobalt owners in here saying how their cars can't lose?
Most of which are GTO owners, so immediatley the mods think...."oh god, another GTO thread...we better close it out before we attract even more douche bags to the site."
I mean if we get anymore GTO owners in here I overheard the admins saying they were gonna change the name from Cobaltss.net to GTOownersandacouplecobalts.net
Sorry, I just couldn't resist the oppurtunity. You go to the corvette sites and you get corvettes. You go to the camaro sites and you get camaro's. You go to the WRX and Evo sites and you get WRX's or EVO's. BUT...if you go to a cobalt site you get...cobalts, srt4's, wrx's, evo's, gto's, camaro's, corvette's, and so forth (the list goes on) and everyone of them sit like hawks waiting for a cobalt vs whatever car they are driving thread...just so they can hop on and yell BS and commence to telling the cobalt owners how they can never win...their car is junk...we have cheap interior...and we are ricers.
I think it's hilarious...let the GTO threads and Name change move forward. Lets just change the name to everyonewhoownsacar.net

is because the GTO's have to hang out with other cars in their league...4 cylinders. I mean when I had my camaro...I laughed at guys with the same motor in a square car that was 500lbs heavier when they tried to race.
(you gto owners know I am kidding right. I got much love for most of you)

You guys are going to get this thread locked. Instead of just saying "no da GTO is the fastest car n teh world, duh u stupids" you're just saying "they say" before it. It's like the same argument with "they say" in front of every line.

You're both going to have to face it, as far as drag racing is concerned, both the suspension in the FWD Cobalt and the IRS in the GTO SUCK. BIG TIME. And not being able to put REAL TIRES in either without MAJOR motifications makes the issue worse.
They are both nice cars, but neither of them is especially fast.
I like both and would be happy to own and drive both, on the street.

The GTO is for the most part a full second faster then the cobalt stock for stock. Geee I wonder why those silly GTO owners think thet they're faster.

You are correct. But I bet you I could put up a kill soty against a stock GTO and still get the BS flag raised.
