225/50/18 too big?

Looking at buying a set of 225/50/18 blizzak's for winters to go on my stock tc wheels. Will these be too big? I'm mainly worried about them rubbing on the bottom of the strut towers..

Thanks for your input guys!

For winters you are better off buying 16" steelies and leaving then on the rims. 16" tires are substantially less expensive, you won't have to pay to get them remounted every season, don't have to worry about the ##s holes at the tire shop fing up your rooms by changing the tires twice a year and a narrower tire cuts through the show better than a wide one does.

He didn't say if it was an LNF or LSJ but an LNF can't fit 16s I have LSJ 18s with 5mm spacers for winter on my LNF

Can't see that cause I was on mobile site pal!
Some of the same things are still true. Skinnier tire is better in snow than wide one. Get steelies so you don't have to changes tire twice a year.
