A guy is selling a set of OZ Ultraleggeras but are 8.5 and 35 offset. I want to pull the trigger on them but worried that I will have rubbing issues and won't be able to run a decent sized tire. I'm currently on SSC springs so the car is lowered a lil bit. The calculators have them almost out 2 cm and only inboard by 4mm.

Well I was going to go 17x9 but no one makes fender flares, so they'd rub BAD. I'm going to stick with the 18x8 oz's, I wasn't aware of 18x8.5's though. Where they custom drilled to fit the SS? If you swap to new suspension you may be able to keep the rubbing to a minimum but ya, it will rub.
I need to roll my fenders....BAD. Last time to CED I had to get footballs for the rear as the fender was taking chunks of tire, to make it home.

I think my ultras are 8.5 inch wide....but I can't remember.... stock is 8 wide
EDIT:
Merp. I bought my ultras YEARS ago off a saab guy, so I bet they are the 18x8's. I was not aware they started making 18x8.5 in our bolt pattern.

I'd plan to do a fender lip roll for the 8.5 wide / ET35, but even after that you may rub a little if the car bottoms out.... it is more hassle that it would be worth for a daily driver IMO
