I would look no further than Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position

I had KDW2's before these 970s.

The KDWs were loud, felt sloppy in sharp turns, and had very poor shock absorption. Every bump in the road made the car feel as though it had blown shocks. Great grip in dry and wet though, as their name implies.

The RE970's are as quiet as stock, dont have as much sidewall play when making sharp turns, and handle impact very well. They basically give you the feel of a stock tire with the performance of an ultra high performance summer tire.

FWIW, Michelin owns and manufactures the BFG brand, so the Super Sport AS is a very close relative to the Michelin (just using older tire technology). The Pilot AS+ tested very well and was a near tie with the Bridgestones......

see test here

Conti ExtremeContact DWS is my favorite high performance all season tire, no questions asked. Michelin is too expensive.
