i was thinking about doing it to my ss/sc rims. for me it was going to cost 65/rim plus 10 bucks a piece for sandblasting. so around 300 after taxes.

 

Damn! I can't get over how much I like those, I'm calling the only worthy powdercoating place around here Monday to see if he can do this

Thanks for the compliments. These are not powdercoated.

This is PVD Black Chrome. The set was $700 plus $100 to chrome the center caps. Traditional chrome adds quite a bit of weight. I weighed these before/after any they picked up less that 1/4 lb.

Done by California Chrome Wheel. Very professional company, great to deal with.

you can get them powder coated and get the same results for far much cheaper. I've seen the results of this color on other items and it has the same effect as if you were to go and get them dipped.
