Being in the powder industry, there is no powder the looks like traditional black chrome plating. The powder looks more gray and dosent have the vibrance. For those of you that dont know the black chrome powder process, i will give you alittle briefing..Black chrome powder is done in two steps, first ,a base coat of chrome powder is applied followed by a black tinted top coat. Since the base on chrome powder doesnt have the depth and reflectivity plating,this is were the "grayish" look comes from. Now for the interesting part...if you already have a chrome or hi polished wheel, we can apply just the black tinted top coat over your existing substrate and you will get a much more crisper, black look.
