Changing Wheels
 

I have a 2009 Cobalt SS sedan and I am thinking of upgrading wheels. I know the lug pattern is 5x110 and I plan to run 18" wheels. Any suggestions on what wheels will work with the Brembo brakes?https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cob...f461d119d7.jpg

check out the wheel thread on here. i have some msr wheels and i use a 3mm up front to clear the brembos. depends what the offset is for the wheels. 5x110 is limited to what you can find.

there are actually more options than most ppl think. Typical wheel of choice for cobalt owners ins Varrstoens.

Do they custom drill? I want es2s but would rather just get them in 5x110 than hub swap

they did back when I had my set in like 2014-15

Love mine also! Wish I had another set so I could also have a black set.

Did you contact them to have them redrilled?

No I was actually fortunate enough to get these from a guy who had them done professionally drilled.

The wheels are facing backwards....

I just set them there to get an idea of how it will look lol. These wheels only go one way also thanks!

I've personally never liked the studded look for rims, but if you like them, it's your car!

I actually like the stock rims better.

did you use a spacer?

Not sure on your budget, but I have the real wheels that these knocks off replicate. Clean brembos no problem :)

I did not try using a spacer, also I went with 235 40-18 Federal 595 tires. The wheels are 18x8.5 +30. What size spacer do I need to be able to clear the brembos?

I'm keeping my stock wheels as well just wanted to switch up for something different.

I think you need a +40 offset for them to clear brembos

So would running 10mm hub centric spacers cause any issues?

you will need extended studs. Not recommended to run over a 3mm on stock studs.

Fender Flares?

try a 5mm spacer first and see how well that works out for you. if not youll have to run extended lugs
