Correct factory recommended tire pressure for 205/55-16 tires.

I recently went from 15 inch wheels and tires to 16 inch wheels and tires. Can someone tell me what the sticker on the door says is the factory correct recommended cold tire pressure for 205/55-16 tires on a 2009 Cobalt.

Some of you must have 16 inch wheels and tires on your cobalt. Tell me what the sticker on the door says the tire pressure is supposed to be for 205/55-16 tire.

Hey man, no need to be hostile. Google is a wonderful thing. Look up a cobalt manual for the lt. Like the person above your comment said it's probably 32psi but, I'm thinking 45 tho. For better mpg of course.......

I have a manual. It is not in it. Only a complete idiot would put 45 p.s.i. in their tires

Lmfao. Dude sorry, but maybe nobody knows. I literally spent 10 minutes looking this up on alldata for you and couldnt find anything about recommended tire pressure. This place is a great source of information but youre getting nowhere quick with an attitude like that.

Correct factory recommended tire pressure for 205/55-16 tires.

Hey hey hey let's not drive him away maybe he can be respectable and see that this forum really is truly helpful. Look on the sidewall of the tire, it'll give you it's max psi it can hold. Honestly I would just go with 35 and if that's to hard to drive on and you want more grip drop it to 30 but once you get to 29 and below (I believe) it will give you a check tire pressure light. But no 45 isn't uncommon. Some autox people run 40-45 in their tires. Really it's on how you feel best but for best mileage to performance ratio I recommend 35.

Lts with 16s are 32 psi

I ran 32 in the front and 33-34 in the bac when I had an lt, the heat makes the front tires warm up more so when they're all warmed up after a drive theyd all sit even at 34-35. Gotta take temp into consideration.
