I love my 15x7 RPF1s...

At 9.5 lbs per wheel , it was worth, changing over to 4x100 wheel hubs...

I would be down for 18x8.5+ in bronze. Wouldn't be able to commit until tax return time though.

plus resale on some custom 5x110 wheels is non existence while wheels in more popular bolt patterns will be picked up quick

Sorry to keep you guys waiting so long. We are just working with Enkei to make sure the sizes are going to be OK. As of right now it looks like it is going to be a go we just need to make sure.

Right now we are looking at 18x8 +45 5x110

As soon as we get anymore new I will post about it.

Anymore information on wheel size let us know!

18x8.5+ in silver please

Also, just FYI, i think a bunch of people in this thread want a wider wheel... there's already a lot of options in 18x8. Just a thought.

Yeah Enkie PF01s already come in 18x8, as do almost every other aftermarket wheel for 5x110. I think a lot of support will be lost if the wheel isn't somewhat wider.

what AaronJ said... If this isnt wider than 8" than I would much rather just go with the PF01. No need for a custom rim if it isnt providing me some advantage over a rim they already make and also, IMO, looks better.

That's what I'm saying. It would just be another 18x8 wheel in 5x110. We can already get the PF01 or EKM3 if we wanted that.

I agree with that we already have plenty 18x8 options. Per the size chart http://www.enkei.com/size_chart/RPF1.pdf we should be fine with 18x8.5 +40, 18x9 +35 or 18x9.5 +38. Then again my car isn't lowered as much as others. Possibly 18x9.5 +45 but not sure about the spacing inside.

This site gives a decent visual representation of the size differences.

*edit: I am kinda pulling these numbers out my ass. I only have a general idea about fitment so don't bash too hard.

This is all good information, all you guy's are great help! I understand wanting to go with a wider wheel. I also agree, I am just trying to find out what fit's and what wont. I my self don't own a Cobalt SS but I am just trying to help you guy's out so I am doing all the research I can to see what fit's your guys cars and what wont.

I personally don't think you guys will want to buy custom wheels that you will have to run a spacer on? This is why I think the 18x9 will be out of the question, you will have to run a crazy offset just to clear your Brembos, this will lead to you guys needing to do a lot of fender work.

So right now we are looking at:

- 18x8 +45 (I know a lot of you don't like it but we know it will fit.)

- 18x8.5 +40 or +30

- 18x9 +? (I will see if anything in a 9" will fit.)

- 18x9.5 +? (Also going to see if anything in this size will fit)

Thanks for being so patient guys. I know this is something you all want, I am trying my best to make this happen for you guys. It is a a lot of work that I am doing on the side. If you guys can wait I will get you guys something you want!

We appreciate it greatly, and anything 8.5" wide and above will make people happy. I think with the 8" wide, you'll have to convince people to order them.

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for the the kind words

OK, so I have some updates. Enkei is not willing to help us find out what fit's and what wont fit. We need to find out what we need to make the 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 fit. I don't know your guys car that well but I am going to take a look at ssyellow's car when I get a chance and make some measurements and make a decision as to if we can possibly make it fit.

thanks again for the help and if you guys can help out in any other way it would be great! Any input would be great!

^That doesn't surprise me... I remember an effort years ago to get Enkie to actually offer the rpf1s in 5x110 from the factory and they told us no. They said something to the effect of the rpf1 is a prestigious wheel and they didn't want to dilute that repuatation by offering a 5x110 option. I don't remember the exact quote, I'd have to search hard for the thread, but that's how I remember reading it. I thought to myself, if its so prestigious why are junk civics rolling around on them? I didn't care about the prestige, or even it's looks, I was just interested in it because it was the lightest wheel out there.

Personally I wouldn't mind running a 5 mm spacer to clear the brembos if needed. Thanks for the effort in trying to provide the community a nice wheel in 5x110

I already have wheels but if i was going to be part of this i would want a 18 or 17x9 with a +35 and then TC's could add the spacer they need in the front to clear. +35 would be close to flush or easy to make flush.

18×9+35 would probably be the best option for everyone.
