I really want to powdercoat my wheels gunmetal grey, but I called a local powdercoater and they said 200 a wheel! NOT worth it to me, might as well man up and get ultraleggera's for that much!


Maybe there's a less expensive vendor somewhere here because that just seems way too expensive.

 

Yehhhh. I had a shop tell me 200 bucks a wheel too,WTF? Most places do it between 50-125 per wheel.

how did u do the red pinstripe around the edge? is that powdercoated as well or did u use a kit to put a vinyl around the edge?

 

Not bad at all.

I know im not an 08 but here we have a local powdercoater that does powdercoating for cheap and he stuff is amazing.

60 a wheel, Sandblasting is 15 a wheel and I had to put a downpayment on the powder since I was the only person that wanted that powder and he had to ship it in. Still haven't done that yet lol

 

i can get them for 70 a wheel in anycolor

by the way redline how much down payment for the powder does he want? just curious how much he told you it would take
