me? lol i had the 2nd gen projetors and sold em, painted the stockers (most recent pics) and now like 3 days ago i got my depo 4th gen headlights soo..... lol i just need some new pics with the new headlights after i fix my lip and bumper from hitting some crap in the road

 

how does the paint hold up for tire changes and balancing for thats my main concern. When the balance im worried the cone adapter will chip the edges of the center hole where the cap goes. and god forbid dumb kid drags the bill on the edge of the rim and eats the paint rite off. Any horror stories. want to have mine painted but kinda over thinkn it mabe lol

Hmm... good point. I had to take my wheels to two different places yesterday. Once place to remove the rubber and another place to have the rims painted. Luckily, they sort of work together. Once the paint shop is done with the rims, they'll take it back to the tire place and they will mount the rubber back on. I'll be sure to inspect the rims when I pick them up today/tomorrow. Shouldn't be too much of an issue... *skeptical*

 

well i preped mine about best you could, layed a couple coats of black, and about 4 coats of clear....needless to say i work at discount tire and theres no way around messing the lip up if they are only painted powdercoating seems to hold up very well when changing tires tho! theres no way around the painted wheels getting mess up tho, people bring em in all the time and as with my own wheels only the lip gets messed up from the tire change, but balancing is no problem....

yea i loved those lights!! they are for sale lol i wanted projectors again so i got me somezz

Your point? It's our car. We can do whatever we want to it. Some might not like it, some might hate it, but that's why YOU don't drive it. We, the owner of the vehicles, do And for the record, my rims are being powder coated glossy black and should be done either this afternoon or tomorrow

 

Can you read?pretty sure I said.not to be a dick but black is played out.so where in there did you read that it looks bad and its ugly? Imo black looks good on anything like.I said its just very played glad I could clear that up for you

yea i know black is over done but i really hated the stock silver tone on my black car!! white gets dirty too easily where i live, couple of my friends have gold/bronze, so i went with black....somethin that none of my friends had around me at the time i did em, now only one other does.., i also know the murdered look is over played as well but i like it for my car, espically with the gold brembos! i was one of the firest to have gold brembos on this site..
