i wanna redo my tc wheels im thinking gunmetal :/ i love the stock finish but it chips off so easy

 

I was gonna go gunmetal, but wasn't sure how that would hold up with brake dust that the brembo's output. And as long as you go with powder coating, you have less to worry about as far as the paint chipping. IIRC, powder coating bakes the paint into the rim, but I could be wrong.

 

if i do i can powder coat at my work but idk how gunmetal will look on my car im really picky

 

Hence why I stuck with black. Then again, when I went to get my rims painted, I told them powder coated black. Their response: Glossy or matte black x.x Tell them gunmetal and they'll probably start asking you how dark/light you want it Perhaps someone on here can photoshop them for ya.

Went through a car wash, so the rims aren't as clean as they should be (Warning: Thumbnail is click-able. Image size = Need bigger than a 24" screen to view it without scrolling )

And don't mind the tire. Getting 4 new tires mounted this week

After 3 weeks and 10 minutes of waiting in line at the car wash, it's finally clean... for the most part. Who are we kidding?! It's a black car. I give it 3 days tops before it starts looking dirty again
