my wheels have quiet a bit of curb rash from the pervious owner. should i paint them black or bronzish? im getting the tires dismounted next week and will be painted the following week. im getting them painted legit for free and getting the curb rash fixed but my buddy isnt sure if he can make a bronze he might just be able to get black.

should i just stick to the original plan and go with black?

 

i like the orange pin stripe and lug nuts. where did u get the lug nuts at?

Came here for ideas.... disappointed when i realized i don't have a black balt -___-...anybody with Victory red balt with wheels other than black?...I had mine plastidipped white and it was nice but im wondering what they would look like powdercoated gloss white.

Hoping to do mine this summer. The previous owner obviously didn't love the car enough and all 4 wheels have rash to varying degrees. I'm thinking of doing a gun metal darkish grey colour because I don't think black looks that great on SRTC. Anybody have any pictures of what this might look like on my colour? To my knowledge, most people on here go black.

I just feel like there isn't enough contrast. I find this especially true with the evo mod. I find that only the lighter colours look good with black wheels (ie: Victory Red, Sunburst Orange, Summit White, Silver etc).

 

yea,i hear ya. i keep going back and forth weather to paint them gunmetal or a bronze or something along those lines. but everytime i clean my car and shine up the wheels,it just looks so perfect haha

now im staring at snow falling and my car parked in the garage lol

theyd get way to dirty. with black,the brake dust dont stand out as much.

i was thinking of going white,gunmetal or bronze. but who knows haha

 

mine is getting done right now, and gloss blue calipers will be dupli-colored as well.
