lots of info left out here. how often do you want to buy tires? are you more concerned with cornering or launch? what is your budget for tires? I recently looked for tires I just read reviews of tires on tire rack and discount tire... knew I wanted to higher mileage tire that did decent in all conditions with a bit more sidewall to absorb potholes and bumps. I settled on some sumimoto tires (exact tires are listed in another thread posted earlier this week) because they fit the budget, had a decent mileage life and had good ratings for all weather conditions.

i would say overall i would want to have more traction in just straight aways, and would be okay with sacrificing a little bit of just overall use in other conditions, when it comes to price i would probabaly have to say i would like to stay under 250 per tire but just depends

Well if you drive in any snow what so ever, do not use NT05/NT01 or NT555s. If you do see snow get a second set of wheels and throw some Nokian WR G3 for winter time (assuming not significant snow fall) and then put some NT05s or NT555s on for summer driving.

I had to drive in some snow with the NT555s and while is was kinda do-able it was not enjoyable or probably safe looking back at it. I think with NT05s it would be impossible.
The reason I recommended the WR G3s are I have them on my cobalt right now and while they can't hold the power they're great for snow/heavy rain and you can drive them in normal temperatures without decreasing their life faster than a standard rate.

I'm currently running Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 in the summer and a cooper winter tire through the colder months. I may be getting new rims soon and so I'll be switching to a Hankook Ventus RS-3, great tire for summer driving, tons of grip, I had them on my last car and a friend of mine has them on his TGP

Im going to give the Falken AZENIS RT615K a try. I haven't personally tried them but I've heard great things about them and have had good luck with falken in the past. They will be strictly for summer and very low miles put on them but just throwing another option out there. Maybe someone on here has tried them? Pricing through a friend that works at a tire shop is pretty fair.
