Joined! 19"x8.5" Stern ST6 Hyperblack +38 offset with 235/35/19 Nitto Invo rubber. Better pics to come when I get the car cleaned and the sun is shining. These pics don't do them justice at all. They look very 2D in these. I need to take some pics from different angles to show the curve of the spokes and the lip size. They have a 3"+ lip.

Sup fellas... Some real nice sets of wheels ive seen.... Bumpin Balts got my vote thou, Sexy wheels mane... I gotta ? thou, ive searched threw this thread n the other wheel thread n ive noticed that no one is runnin a 225/40series tire on a 19x8 rim... Thats wat id like to run on my 19s... So is there a reason for that, will the 40 series rub? i am lowered on eibach sportlines also... i cud pry live with the 35series, im just not a huge fan of the stretchin... n i kinda wanna protect that lip. I know how i drive sooo, lol... God knows id end up scuffin it all to hell!

Colejones has 225/40/19 Nitto Invo's on his wheels now. 235/35/19's would be perfect for 19x8 wheels though. Mine are 235/35 Nitto Invo's on 19"x8.5" wheels. They are only stretched a little on 8.5's, so they would be perfect on 8's. 235/35's are almost the same diameter as stock SS/SC tires. they are only .01" smaller. 225/40's would be .3" bigger and they may rub. 225/40's will be stretched a bit on 8" wheels, so 235/35's are the way to go if you don't like stretching. Just keep your tire pressure up around 35psi to help protect that lip!

Yeah, they look like it because the tires even have rounded edges on them plus there is a rim protector ridge. I like the stretched look though.
They handle really well in the rain plus have a 360 treadwear rating.
Here's the tire info from Falkens site:

I don't think anyone on here has those wheels. 245/40/19's would be 1.1" bigger than stock SS/SC
215/45/18's. I can pretty much guarantee rubbing with those. Mine are 235/35/19's and they are .1" smaller than stock tires. If I went any wider or taller I would rub on the rear fender going over bumps. If you want a 40 profile on a 19, 225/40's are as big as you can go without rubbing likely. If the wheels are 8" or 8.5" wide, 235/35/19's would be perfect. I have 235's on 8.5" wheels.
