One pissed off guy

nothing like going to get ur car hand washed. Only to see the polished wheels to have acid on them. Got most of it of after 4 hours of hand polishing. Ill sand them down and redo them this spring i guess

I had that happen on my corolla and my Camaro now when I go to any car wash the first thing I tell them is to watch my wheels they are not chrome, a lot of times they cant tell the difference when they are high polished

I was told the they put acid on wheels to clean them but the guys didnt know better not to put acid in aluminum wheels.

This is why I trust nobody to touche my car. Especially the idiots at the dealership with their "complimentary car wash" after service lol

I used a brush on my car once and still regret it.

Well that sucks, sorry this happened to ya. I also tell my dealer not to wash my car after they work on it

I don't run anything thru the wash that I care about. That said I run the wifes 230k denali thru the wash once in a while and they do a fine job.

Theres still places that use acid to clean wheels!!! I thought everyone graduated to specific wheel cleaners!!!
